Food is ok. Until......
Just don't try to use the women's restroom. You need a key and when you get there, no toilet paper and NO toilet seat.... can't even use toilet seat covers if you wanted to. I held it till I got home. No paper towels or soap in the restroom either.
Sooooooooo if customers cannot use the restroom and wash their hands....
how are employees doing it?????
I was so grossed out today. -

A perfectly average wet burrito, good for take-out when little else is available.
Ordered takeout via the Yelp app for dinner one late weekday. Swung by to pick it up, ready within 15 minutes of my order.
The burrito itself is plenty large, drizzled in a healthy portion of mostly flavorless sauce and cream (or was it cheese?). The chicken inside was delicious, but occasionally it tasted like there was far more onion than chicken in each bite.
The rice and refried beans were okay, without any of the overcooked pieces you find in lower quality Mexican takeout.
The fries were pretty standard fare as well, reminiscent of the kind you'd get in a cafeteria or frozen at the grocery store.
A good quick dinner, but nothing to write home about. -

I had to stop eating because the Guacamole was made to perfection. I just moved to the area and was looking for my spot for Mexican. This place is it! The nachos and the chicken tacos are succulent. Even the chicken tacos are filled a a great amount! The woman who took my order was very cordial. I was shocked it was not a walk in place but caters to restaurant seating. Il be back for that.
My recommendation is definitely the guacamole. Everything else was great but guac knocked it out the park for me. -

It's hard to believe that this former Arby's turned Mexican restaurant can put out such good food, but they do!
On my lone trip to Sol Tapatio I tried the Nachos. I thought that was a safe choice. Considering I hadn't tried the beans yet, I knew that if they were sub par that the other toppings could offset the experience. Well, the beans were awesome. The chicken was really good, tender and pretty moist (for nachos). They have a solid pico. There was plenty of jalapenos which is a critical nacho component.
One thing I loved about Sol Tapatio was the beverage selection. My goodness, the choices were endless. All of the various Mexican juices, and my personal favorite, Horchata - takes me back to my childhood.
I'll definitely be back here and I'm looking forward to testing out a few other menu items.
